David J. Taube joined the Office of Government Ethics in 2019 and serves as an Associate Counsel in the Ethics Law and Policy Branch. He previously practiced ethics and general government law in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Office of General Counsel. Before joining these agencies, David worked for three United States courts of appeals as a law clerk and staff attorney. David graduated from Amherst College and the Georgetown University Law Center.
